Fake Scream Promos?

Has this been an issue recently? I received a set of the scream promos from Japan (minus the mimikyu) and though I have not had much experience in the japanese newbacks area, they seem really off to me. At first glance I thought it was the art throwing me off because they are so unique, but the feel seems weird and also light (from an iPhone X on the lowest setting) shines right through. Are these made super thin? I(ll try to add a video link for proof if that needed. Most obvious answer here would be to the question: Does light shines through the new backs?

Light should shine through any legitimate card. Many fakes also pass a light test as well though. I wouldn’t assume they are fake unless there are glaring issues. You would be able to see/feel it.

Perhaps they are the tags from merchandising?

EDIT: Probably not, since they have no Japanse back.
