Sorry everyone else who thought of this but here’s the obvious one:

Not long ago on Discord we were talking about Sugimori original illustrations (like this one) and Sugimori stock art on generic background. No question that Sugimori is iconic either way, but his original illustrations like this are just great.

GB Lugia is a beauty! Personally I would love a no rarity or 1st base Ninetales signed and sketched by him.

Agreed I love the Ninetales. Not all his copy paste art looks bad like machamp, I’ve always loved the background with the fists

The flurry of fists and a specific childhood memory are why I keep a Machamp stood below my computer monitor. So cool!

Wow that shiny Gyarados scene is epic! Makes you feel like you’re in the PokeMon world.

I agree with both of these. Shining gyarados looks awesome and grand party just looks amazingly special.
