Was just curious to see what your thoughts would be on the value of a complete first edition shadowless base set. Cards aren’t currently graded, but I’m wondering about the price valuation for:
-the set sold as ungraded, condition varies EX-NM
-the set sold as graded, with an average of PSA 6
Any advice would help. Thanks!
The overall value of a graded PSA 6 the 1st edition shadowless set would be about the same as the ungraded set. Encased cards add very little value unless the cards are a higher grade, such as PSA 8 to 10 (and PSA 7 to 10 for the holos). Reason being is that most people would prefer to keep an EX-NM set in a binder rather than take up space and cost protecting already lightly worn cards.
I sell my graded 6 average holo sets for appx 1500.00. That’s about the right number I’d say.
