Are there any animals or concepts you think would make good future pokemon designs? If there are still any unplumbed depths left.
I’m surprised it took so long to roll out a dolphin pokemon, I feel like it would have been a given to do in the first few gens.
I think a cute snail pokemon would be nice. Or a cool stegasaurus.
An alpaca Pokémon!!! I don’t really count Arceus, I just want a fluffy, cute and goofy alpaca.
I’d settle for a llama as well.

honestly, this thing was a banger. water/ ghost or water/steel. i still feel like there’s a lot of potential here.
really any shark though, sharpedo was middling for me, and garchomp doesnt do it at all.

A computer-esque pokemon would be interesting, like a rotom evolution or something

A region based on Madagascar or Tasmania would be great. Unique ecosystems with a lot to offer, both symbolic of the Anthropocene which could be used as a subtle theme. A focus on rare Pokemon, invasive Pokemon, conservation of Pokemon, conservation of habitat etc.

Apatelodes torrefacta, the spotted apatelodes, is a moth in the family Apatelodidae. And could be the first Bug/Dragon type Pkmn or Dragon/Bug.

I want another Eeveelution. Preferably Ghost, Steel or Rock type. For Rock type, it would be neat if it was an extinct evolution like the ones from Pokemon Legends (Kleavor, Ursaluna, etc). Its evolution item would be a fossil or something. It’ll look like some ancient sabre tooth tiger.
I saw a youtuber do a Flying type based off on a griffin. I think that would be really cool.

Humming bird Pokémon that’s grass/flying is so far overdue! I’ve always thought about one that evolved into a bird of paradise. Visually a mixture of the actual bird and the plant by the same name.
