Most everything on eBay has been OBO posts so I can’t really get an accurate value. One auction ending around $1,600 but all the BINs are really far off. I just missed out on buying one for $300 so I’d like to bask in my depression a little with the help of some more accurate sale info. Thanks!
This app called mercari. I questioned it’s authenticity at first but it’s an older case and doesn’t appear to be tampered with at all. They have a buyer guarantee even if it’s tampered with but Someone beat me to it.
Thanks for the info. Maybe they’re just ignorant, mercari isn’t like eBay. You don’t get your money cleared to your account until the buyer receives the item and rates you.
I’ve never dealt with them buy I would suggest avoiding using that site. Their buyer/seller protection policies page is essentially only 4 paragraphs, which begs the question how they manage to stay in business in the first place. Seems a bit shady to me…
I’ve been using them for over a year and have yet to have an issue. I’ve actually purchased $200 worth of MTG cards before from someone there that turned out to be proxies. I filed a report and sent them pictures comparing the proxies to a real card and explained the differences and they had my money back in my account the next day. I’ve had more issues buying and selling on eBay than I have there. Last year I had a guy try to return a card I sold because he said it wasn’t in NM condition as described. He filed a report through eBay, I elected to fight it and asked for pictures and eBay sided with him immediately, no pictures, no request for my pictures before shipping (which I always take). He returned the card, it arrived in the same condition I sent it pack fresh with no marks at all, put my account $90+ into the negative due to PayPal taking the money back and I was out a sale and shipping costs.
Def a scammer. Will take the money and run. Even if they offer a guarentee money back doesn’t mean they will…all you have to have is some doubt that you are lying you never recieved it and they can deny your claim.
If the seller doesn’t provide tracking info then they 100% of the time side with the buyer, and like I said you have to receive the item with tracking info and rate the seller before they receive their money, with something this sketchy I would record myself opening the package just in case.
I’m glad to hear it has worked out well for you! I personally still think that their policies are too ambiguous to have confidence in them, but thank you for sharing your experience
$1600 and $300 for a PSA 10 crystal zard just isn’t a thing, I’ve got confirmation of multiples selling in the past two weeks for $4500-$4800. I think I might’ve picked up the cheapest copy lately at a bit over $3k but I don’t think the seller was aware of the price increase as he’d had the card listed for a few weeks so I was just lucky.
