I’ve never understood the obsession with swirls, call me old fashioned but I like the original base set holo patterns.

I think it depends on the card. Different patterns compliment different artworks more effectively than others. I think swirls have their place but it isn’t necessarily the mecca of all holo patterns.

I’m really hoping they bring back cosmos holo and also make the borders holo like the Japanese cards. Regular holos would look like old school EX cards.
