Hi everyone, just wondering on what peoples thoughts are on completing an English gold star collection without umbreon / Espeon? I was thinking of excluding them from the gold Star English collection due to them not being holos or set cards (they are promotional cards). Has anyone else done this? Is it normal to collect the gold star holo cards (25 of them) and skip those 2?
There really are no rules when it comes to collecting (and there is no definition of what’s normal). Just start collecting them and when you are at 25 and look at your cards, you’ll see if you feel happy with it or if you feel like something important is missing.

I would include them cos they are goldstars too, even tho they are not in the “set”. It’s like collecting every shining card and only choosing between neo rev or neo destiny shinings.

I would include because they are a gold stars and are found in pop series packs.

The Gold Star Umbreon is to me one of the best gold stars you can collect. It’s clearly intended by Pokemon to be one of the most highly regarded artworks as the Japanese holo version was chosen to be the highest point valued one you can obtain at 70k points. Its a must have in english or japanese IMO, amazing card.
