Hey guys just wondering what are some good online retailers other than troll and toad for singles. I’ve made 3 order from troll and toad and all of their “mint” cards have been absolute junk I I ordered a few evolutions reverse holos and each and every one of them had at least one significant scratch on them and I pretty much had one from each order come in creased as well, like how do you consider these mint?! Lol but anyways just looking for other places to fill out some of my set when I need to!
Coolstuff inc are pretty good. Everytime i’ve used them i haven’t had much to complain about.

troll and toad only has near-mint and played condition cards so i cant expect exactly mint cards from them. All my orders from troll and toad are only for binder purposes. As for other retailers you can try collector’s cache or just amazon.com. They have quite competitive prices.
That’s what I meant was near mint I misspoke but either way, creased cards by no means qualify as near mint. and I get cards from online retailers like this for my binders as well but if wanted to put creased cards in my binders id just go to my local card store and rifle through the 99 cent box for them then. But thanks for the suggestions I’ll check them out!
You could send an email to Troll and toad about the cards condition. I’m sure they are happy to send you another card or even a refund because it is clearly fault from their side that you received a creased card stated as ‘near mint’.

I like TCG player, out of the hundreds of cards I’ve bought only one was not as described, seller fixed it immediately.
R Holo rares from evo are usually 50 cents with Free shipping. No rip off on shipping like T&T does.

This has happened to me on 2 different occasions with T&T where I ordered ‘near mint’ cards (shining celebi and shining kabutops) and they had come with creases on them. When I emailed them they offered me 15% off and I keep the cards (useless as I needed NM and not played) or I can ship them back (at my own expense WITH tracking mind you) and they’ll refund me the amount I paid. Obviously sent back and ended up losing money because of shipping. But then again i’ve had a few cards from them that were actually near mint as advertised.
They are very hit and miss, and quite a gamble whenever (if ever anymore) I do buy from them.

@ chok After the 3rd order I actually did, first order I didn’t think much of it I figured maybe it just slipped through second order. I noticed it again and was thinking “c’mon man!” And 3rd times the charm and ended up sending it back, it was just disappointing though ya know because actually I really like their site everything’s organized nicely and they have a nice selection!
I have made 6 orders from troll and toad and 2 are yet to arrive. For me the only down side of troll and toad is the shipping time where it takes around 3 weeks to arrive(I live in the UK) but it arrives without a customs charge as they are sent from Sweden(I dont know how but thats whats happening the past 6 orders). All the cards I received are really good and they are really near mint without the crease problem. Some cards even have a chance at a PSA9. I believe when it comes to troll and toad it really is a gamble and so far i am considered very very lucky i guess.

Theres also Magicmadhouse.co.uk,pokemonst.co.uk(does anyone know what happened to this guy) some wholesalers, they add the 20% VAT ofc but still generally cheaper that other places, I bought a sun and moon booster from some random wholesale company in the UK I began with P and they do a Pokemon monthly box aswell(googling is also good, thats how I found all mine). I realise this is useless for you but for any UK peeps here it may be useful though all are v well known.
Oh you can also support your local pokemon seller, I have a guy called Dave a few miles from me who had an ebay store and also delivers/meets local. Its a weird feeling walking up to a guy in a card, handing over £70 for a pokemon booster box! Id love to be stopped, “what are you doing here!?drugs?pirate dvd and games?!”

I used troll and toad once, never again… Ordered about 120 reverse holos and they sent me all the non reverse holo variants. They had ONE JOB.
