Just curious, does anyone have ideas on why this Charizard got a PSA 6 or was it just unlucky grade, its been cracked.

I would think the scratching on that Charizard Holo would bring it down to a 7, maybe 8 if really lucky. With the other whitening and marks on the back a 6 isn’t out of the question for it.

Agreed on all the above. The wear on the back looks like light play-wear to me, which usually puts cards out of the upper grades. The scratching on the front isn’t as bad as the back. Graders may be kind, but I’m afraid with the back-edge chipping, 7 would be a nice surprise. Still, not a bad card. An awesome binder copy as the front has nice eye appeal.

You should post this on the shining mew thread. It’s another 6 to 9 candidate with proof. You really have to work in ranges and stop when you’re happy. 8s good.
