Grading a card with a small bend?

Hey guys,
as I’ve never graded a card myself yet, I wondered what a bend like that on the back of the card would knock the grade down to, assuming everything else would be flawless. I looked up the grading standarts at PSA website but something like a crease is first mentioned at PSA 4. Now I guess a bend like that wouldn’t be as bad as a crease but I don’t really know. Would this bend knock it down to a PSA 4?
Thanks in advance!

I can’t say for certain how severe PSA would consider that bend, such as enough for it to go all the way down to a PSA 4, especially since everything else is flawless, but it won’t be higher than a PSA 6.

Bends and creases are the worst kind of damage. No matter how good the rest of the card looks, a bend or crease like this will knock the grade down a lot.

Thanks for both your replays!
Now it is a lot clearer to me.

just to support what the others said, here’s a card I just got back from PSA that I thought was a definite 10 but got a 6 because of a very similar crease that I didn’t noticed. So even if the rest of the card is perfect the best they could give you is a 6-7

I always thought the standard maximum for a card with a “normal” bend is a PSA 6, and then the rest of the card may also be in non-optimal condition, but not in terrible condition.

You’re right. 6 max.
