Have these Generation packs been opened and resealed or...

Do these naturally open slightly on the edges due to handling? They appear to be on the bottom as well. I am not sure if this is normal as I bought a few of these online.I have not opened any and just wanted to hear your expertise.Attachment DeletedAttachment Deleted

They shouldnt be open like that. Open a pack and see what cards are inside it.

I had some like that straight from boxes.

Nope they should be sealed. I had a bunch of newer packs sealed just like that.

If someone wanted to open and reseal & sell packs, it wouldn’t be new ones. Should be just fine.

Even older packs do this, so corners being opened doesn’t equal reseal. I say this because I had someone accuse me of it on ebay one time and I took a return because the packs were “fake and resealed” even though I took them straight from blister packs I bought in 2000. Think waterandgrass or whatever on ebay made a video about resealed packs with a ton of misinformation, so beware if you watch that.

I asked for a partial refund, because he said they were sealed both top and bottom side of which the items did not arrive in that state, and then accused me of scamming him, and blocked me, I just left negative feedback. Was an ebay purchase.

Sorry, but you were in the wrong on this one and I would have blocked you as a seller as well. Not only did you assume something that wasn’t true, you asked questions here and heard from a few members that they have received packs that look just like that. Then you still complained to get a partial refund AND left negative feedback…Like it was the sellers fault the packs came from the factory like that.

Either return them or accept them. Hell, even after getting money back the biggest thing that would make me angry as a seller is negative feedback. They did all you wanted, what more did you want them to do? You had choices, you made quite a few wrong ones.

Yea, I’d have to agree with @joetehman. That’s a pretty terrible thing to do considering the seller had no control over it. Poor seller.

No I left negative feedback after he accused me of being a scammer, seller blames it on delivery service, I blame it on how the packs were packaged by the seller which compressed the edges to where they became opened, I was civil until he accused me. He did not even give a thought to a partial refund, just right out threatened me as a scammer. That threw me off, so I retorted of course.

There is nothing wrong with those packs at all. Nothing here warrants a partial refund. That is simply how new packs look. You should adjust your feedback for the seller as they did nothing wrong.

Remind me to block as well then lol. Negative feedbacks are a lot more serious on a seller than you think.

I bought Sun/Moon promo blisters for the promos. I stacked the boosters off to the side, went to move them noticed one was slit/split down the side. To my recollection, none of the blisters had been resealed.

I understand that the seller acted in the wrong, but to be fair you accused them first AND you had proof of it from this site (not saying its definitive, but there are some VERY knowledgeable people on this site that have seen it all). In those cases its either refund if you were weary or keep them. Sellers have to deal with all kinds of people, either wanting to get stuff free or demanding every little white mark on the card needs a partial refund. Literally this exact scenario happened to me on base set packs, accused me of “resealing because the colors were wrong”. When, in fact, there are variations of unlimited pack art that he didn’t know. I took the refund and that was that. He asked for a partial and I declined.
