Help Identifying Shadowless Pikachu Print Error? (NOT Ghost)

Hi there, sorry if this isn’t the right place to post this but I’m quite new here.

A friend and I recently came across a few shadowless theme decks and found a printing error on one of the Pikachu cards we pulled from Zap. This isn’t the usual ‘ghost’ stamp error and haven’t come across this before, so wondered if this was known or whether it’s significant? Basically looking for some background info if possible!

As you can see in the images, both Pikachus are pretty perfect from a card condition standpoint, however one of them has some sort of symbol typed in ink between the 10 and 30 damage numbers.

I’ve put a picture of the two side by side and zoomed in to show that it isn’t so much a random mark as it is an actual symbol of some sort at the end of the line. I’ve tried searching for this and haven’t come across anything, but sorry if we’ve missed something.

Can provide more background if needed obviously, but this was just unsealed and opened today and all other cards are normal and without error.

Love quirks like this so any knowledge would be much appreciated as always!

Thanks

I dunno, it doesn’t look like any kind of symbol that would have been used back then to me… it’s not like there were a ton of variations used in the base set. Personally I think you might just be overthinking it and it’s probably just an ink drip. Curious what others have to say though

Looks like an ink drip @gypsypony.

Looks like just a scribble or ink drip to me. Not really sure though. Almost resembles cursive or a music note.

The Doodle Bob error!
