Hi there, I’ve seen these almost perfectly parallel light lines across the backs of some cards. Before, I thought they might’ve just been scratches from sliding the card or something, but now I’m wondering if it’s some sort of light scratching that occurs at the factory? Since this one card seems to have a bunch that seem perfectly parallel. Thanks for any info/help you can provide!
Yes they come out of packs like that. It’s very common. Also PSA isn’t very bothered by them. I’ve seen 10’s with some on the back—it’s easy to get 9’s with them.
Yup I have opened a lot of card packs like that. Are they lenient when they are on the front also…one or two lines like that through a holo? Some of my SD Pikachu cards have those and I was debating whether or not to send them in to grade.
@brendantheclayboy , Thanks a bunch! The first time I saw it I just thought some kid slid his card across some surface in a very coincidental way. But after seeing it more often, I figured it had to be something else. And it’s good to know that they don’t typically hurt the grade too much!
