One of my pet peeves is consignment auctioneers not taking the time to auction properly. There’s several examples you all can state here (like not responding to picture requests) but my biggest problem is when they piggyback like listings.
With just a little bit more attention as the sellers advocate they could put extra money in everybody’s pocket.
An example…
So annoying they don’t reply to picture requests.
Sucks for the sellers, good for the buyers >:]

Well then, let’s go into business together and make a competing Pokemon-only auction house (online only, of course). (Medium seriousness) We can undercut PWCC’s 8% by providing a cap for high-value listings, expedite and automate the receiving/processing/listing chain, and provide bi-monthly auctions for faster turn around time for both potential buyers and sellers. There’d be a minimum value for cards (none of this $45 PSA 7 Base Set Charizard nonsense), a screening process that double and triple checks authenticity and rejects any item that seems worrisome, and we could have an automated system in place that doesn’t offer two low-res pictures, but rather professional-shot product photographs from the most essential angles. Let’s do dis.
The concept is honestly a decent idea. Rather than undercut though I would rather match PWCC and have someone renown on efour be the guy in charge of the sales of our auctions. By doing that it will attract serious buyers from here and other connected websites that know of efour as well. Also wouldn’t be a bad idea to have an efour website exclusive auction site where we can evclusivly contribute to our community. Doesn’t need to be on this website but one of this community and other serious buyer communities as well. Course would have to work out the finer details of how to prevent tampering of auction such as pre initial deposit toward an auction that you can’t get back if you win the auction and bail on it after winning. That and verification of sufficient funds privately through the host. Also when the auction starts it closes off and only those who signed up for the auction can bid. The rest of those who missed out on it are allowed to watch the auction though. I know watching an auction can also be fun.
I nominate pokesyn to be person in charge to attract the serious buyeringtons
