How do PSA grade my signed PSA 10??

I will try to make my question simple. I have a PSA 10 Base Unlim Zard. If I were to get this signed, how would it be graded, and is it possible to make sure it gets a 10 again if I send in the slab??

I really want to crack it and get it signed, but only if I can be sure it still gets a 10 when I regrade and authenticate it.

I hope this is understandable. Anyone with any information about the subject is welcome to answer and spam this post or PM me :blush: Appreciate all the input I can get. This is an aspect I don’t know much about :confused:

Just buy a 9 and get it signed, such a waste to ink a gem

Just have the case signed. That’s what I have.

I am glad to see that you are all saying what I have been thinking. Signing the case will be much safer and look just as good without destroying a card.

@garyis2000 is there a way to choose what you want on the slab? I have a psa 8 collection of the shadowless holos. Might consider cracking and signing the shadowless Zard. I see some that just say authentic and some with grades. Can i choose to get it graded only if it still becomes an 8 and only authentic if it is graded lower when regraded. If this makes sense?

Don’t crack.
Just get another one in lesser condition to have signed.

@garyis2000 Lol what if I am not in the position to just buy another one ungraded in NM (ish PSA 8) condition? Still interested in knowing how the process works and why slabs look different on signed cards :blush:
