How do you store your binders?

I’m interested in a shelf box type of storage container with a glass or plastic front cover so that my binders are visible through the glass. Wondering if anyone has built or bought something similar?

I personally have them by my desk, I can include a pic later on today. I know IKEA sells shelfs with glass for displaying items and collectibles. What kind of binders do you have?

I’ve also been exploring options for binder storage for quite a while but haven’t really found anything good yet. My first idea was to display them in an IKEA detolf glass display case but I found that to be kind of a waste since the binders themselves aren’t the main attraction and putting them in a fragile glass case makes them hard to access. Weight also becomes an issue; you’d be surprised at how much a few binders full of cards weigh. I wouldn’t feel comfortable putting binders on any level of a glass display other than the wooden bottom.

I think ultimately just a standard old bookcase that fits with whatever other furniture you have would be the best choice. Maybe one with a glass door, but that’s about as fancy as it’d get.

I agree with this. Unless you want to display any trophies, PSA graded cards, or any card on its own, the whole glass shelve might not be the best idea. I personally, have my favorite cards on my desk displayed and the rest are on ultra pro binders.

Pictures guys, i want to see visuals.

My set up about a year ago vs. now August 2016 (Need to update again… ):

As a collector of stuff other than cards as well, I can honestly say that space more so than money is the ultimate opportunity cost. Gotta be as efficient as possible while still maintaining visual appeal. My binders are still sitting in that little square section of my computer table… but I am now in desperate need of a way to expand. :slightly_frowning_face:

oh, you have the warcraft oldschool art book and d3 combos like me!

The room I’d be storing in is pretty dusty so I’m worried about not having a front cover on a shelf. The ikea ones look pretty good though with a wood bottom and glass front.

IKEA detolfs are not dustproof out of the box; you’d have to modify it with weather strips to cover the rather large gap between the front door and the sides.
