sold an item because I planned on using the cash for another item. So obviously the plan requires said item to be paid for. how long do you wait to relist on ebay?
Until Ebay allows you to open a claim for nonpayment. That option will become available to you. Usually takes a couple days.
Minimum 2 days for them to pay and 4 days for an unpaid item case. Howver if the buy asks to cancel you can cancel and relist immediately.
does the no payment claim give me any sort of credit?
If they don’t pay within the 4 days you get you do get your eBay fees back associated with that sale. If buyers pay and request a refund cancelling the sale will return them the money and eBay will return your fees HOWEVER even with a sale cancellation or refund PayPal will NOT refund you their fees.

Have you reached out to this buyer? I usually send a message after a purchase (if it’s been 24 or more hours) and remind them that shipment will occur within 72 hours after payment is confirmed. I usually get a response and have yet to have any issues.

Yes buyer has been messaged 3 times and 2 invoices no answer. I opened a ebay non paying buyer case, but I see an option to just cancel the order. Can I do this and get my final sale money back?
