Huge potential, but PSA? (foreign)

So i’ve recently invested in a lot of portugiese and spanish wotc boosters, in hope that PSA will start grading past base set.

i really hope that they at some point will concider, and i also think they will. So i hope my investment is worth the big buck i threw after the boosters. If PSA starts grading cards after Base, i can only imagine what will happen to the booster prices compared to the current.

i also believe foreign wotc is really slept on btw.

do you thik PSA will start grading foreign any time soon?

Best regards the stoone.

Most likely not. They haven’t done so for the past 22 years, so what makes you think they’ll start now? They even grade less than before, by refusing to grade most misprints these days (like No Damage Ninetales; No HP Persian; Inverted WB promos; Ghost/Phantom stamp Pikachu; Japanese No Rarity Venusaur and Raichu; etc.)

Before I never really understood why PSA wouldn’t grade any foreign cards except for Base Set and foreign cards released in English/Japanese speaking countries (i.e. Spanish/German/French Art Academy cards; French Pikachu from the Japanese Gotta Magazine; Pikachu World Collection; etc.). Although since they are already incapable of researching well established English/Japanese cards, I now understand why they don’t want to delve into foreign cards, which are a lot harder to research (speaking from experience, since I collect all 14 languages for Pikachu and Seviper, and have also made 90+ single Pokémon lists for other collectors thus far).

If you want to grade foreign Pokémon cards outside of the Base Set, your best bets are BGS or CGC.

i know bgs and CGC does it. but i dont think there will be any difference in foreign wotc before PSA dares. but i can see where you come from.

maybe its also just a little hope of mine.

CGC grades all languages for WotC I believe

I think your best option is grading with DN if you want to unleash the full potential of your investment
