Currently looking for PSA 10 Team Aqua’s Kyogre and its pop 11. I currently can’t find one for sale so I’m hoping to hit that 4% chance of grading a 10.
Are Double Crisis Packs searchable? I want to buy some loose packs and rip but I’m afraid the packs have already been weighed or searched somehow.
Honestly I don’t think this is a card that can get a modern 10. I searched for gradable copies for a few years between 2018-2021 and every single copy I came across had whitening issues on the back. I have a feeling the 11 PSA 10 copies likely have those same issues but slipped through the grading cracks.
This is all too often the case. Main reason to not pay stupid high premiums for 10s imo.
A psa 10 copy can still have a little bit of whitening as long as the surface and centering is really good. I’m pretty sure they vary depending on the era. For example SV era has seen tons of whitening on the corners for SIRs, but more recently PSA has been letting corner whitening through if it isn’t too bad.
It wouldn’t surprise me if they were weighable. They changed the code cards around the Breakpoint/Breakthrough sets to make the packs basically unweighable

Based on the video it looks like it’s close to 1/6 of the Aqua packs having the Kyogre. So pulling one will have an expected cost of $480-600 depending if you can source each pack between $80-100.
To grade a 10, if you include PSA 8s as a possible outcome you have to sub ~55 copies ($26,000-55,000 expected cost) and if you include PSA 7 it would take 83 copies ($40,000-83,000 expected cost). So approximately you’re probably looking at $50k worth of packs to realistically pull one and grade a 10.
