Is it safe to open a prerelease kit case?

I was lucky enough to snag a full prerelease kit case of Vivid Voltage, still sealed in its shipping box. To clarify this isn’t just the 10 prelease boxes; it’s a box that is sent to stores with the full 10-box prerelease kit, a booster box, a 450-energy box and a few other goodies. I’m wondering it it’s depreciating any value if I open it from its shipping box?

Also, how rare are these things? I can’t find much info on these aside from Vivid Voltage and a little bit of Rebel Clash. What’s the value of these things over time? They’re going for quite a bit right now, and I dunno if after the hype if these are still as valuable.

Any info would be great, thanks!

Send the whole box to me for authentication. You’ll get it back in 2 years.

Is there definitely a booster box in the case? And what are the other goodies?

@padman,It comes with a Vivid Voltage booster box, a case of Build & Battle prerelease boxes, 5 vivid voltage playmats, a box of 450 energy cards, and 5 sealed info cards (might have something else in there, but from pictures it’s a how to play card of sorts).

I want to make sure that I’m not wasting value by opening it from the shipping box; I’m sure this box doesn’t get reprinted, but I dunno if, for example, the build & battle boxes contained in it do. Is it possible to verify that it’s a legit prerelease kit without opening it? I can’t seem to find the answers I’m looking for.
