Is my Shining Gyarados a double holo or holo bleed?

I don’t mean to ask the same question other people have already asked. However I can’t tell if my card just has a bunch of the cosmic pattern or if this is a holo bleed? I’ve heard the clouds would be darker on a double holo which mine doesn’t seem like but I’ve also seen it where a double holo shines next to the fisher man which I kinda see in mine.

Welcome to e4! Unfortunately, this is a normal copy.

Definitely looks like the double holo variant. Can you see some holo bleeding through gyarados? I have been noticing some differences between the copies. Some have darker clouds and some do not.

The only cloud visible in the double holo variant is a sliver above the boat. OP’s copy is a normal one.

I included some more photos. To me it looks like the clouds are more prominent in this copy making it a normal version. But it also looks like a lot more holo on my copy and the comic pattern looks stacked on top of each other. I don’t know if this is just a common holo variance that happens in some cards. I also don’t really see any holo on Gyarados

Hi, beautiful card!

Confirming @Dyl’s answer - this is a normal copy. There are still areas of the clouds that do not have holographic foil.

Just because it’s not double-holo does not mean you should be discouraged. Some people chase certain holo patterns anyway.

Banger of a card, and welcome to E4 :handshake:

Imo it is not

Looks just like my one. I’ve noticed the holo doesn’t pop that much on the English version. Mine is a normal copy.

Thank you for everybody’s comments. It does seem the census is that the double holo error will always have the dark cloud versions. Looking forward to the site and learning more things.
