Is there a loupe test for Pokemon cards?

As per the title, in Magic TCG there’s a green dot test to verify authenticity: www.detecting-the-fakes.com/checking-details/green-dot-check/

Is there a similar one for PKMN cards that one can check with a loupe? I’m starting back into collecting and I’ve seen one too many black star Birthday Pikachu “proxies” on eBay to make me wonder.

I would go through this thread and get some idea’s from what rattle did

If it’s an uncommon/common I think the fastest way is to look at the side for the graphite layer.

If it’s a holo it might be easiest to look at the rosette pattern such as the ‘P’ in Pokemon as was pointed out in one of the videos
