Italian market prices

Hi all! Hate to create a new thread just for this, but looking to buy a single Italian card as a souvenir/memory. I’ve been looking at a base set alakazam, fossil dragonite, shining raichu and celebi gold star. All of which are NM. To those who collect Italian, how much would you pay for these individually if they were for your collection?

I’m not looking to flip, just not get ripped off!

Here!

For alakazam specifically I was ready to pay around 60€ but got luck on a bid.

For dragonite you mean the holo version? I think around 30-40€ should be a good price, for the non-holo version you can go for half that price. I wouldn’t go higher.

Shining prices are crazy af, I just watched some on ebay and I wouldn’t take any of them. Not those condition nor those prices. I think it’s fair between 100-200€, not above 200€ for a nm copy.
It’s just a raichu, not the biggest pokemon ever.

For gold star I’m passing the ball to someone else that’s more into ex era than me. I don’t like what I see, even if I understand why they are so rare. I still think it’s robbing.

This is MY opinion, I’m not an expert of how italian market goes, I just buy the cards for myself. Sometimes you get lucky, sometimes you get scammed. Just take your time and wait, you’ll get a deal eventually

Thanks a lot, this is super useful. The shop is selling them graded (graad) and all prices are significantly higher than that. 100 for zam (7), 220 for 1st dragonite holo (7.5) and 140 for the non-1st same grade, 450 for shining raichu (I believe 8…), And 1000 for the celebi in an 8. All prices are in eur. I guess the slabs are definitely adding to the value, but at the same time I ideally would want it for my binder. I’m not too familiar with graad but by the conditions it looked like I could get a +1 crossing to PSA for most.

I’m Italian and I’d love to help, but I don’t sell card and I don’t usually keep track of prices. Unfortunately I’m not into shining and gold stars, so can’t really help here either,
I agree with omic though, and I suggest checking on cardmarket so you can easily get a rough idea of ita/german/french prices

SORRY FOR THE EDIT:

I was talking about RAW copies (Unlimited to be honest), take care, prices of graded cards are always higher, and this is a fact for every market.
Differences can be quite higher depending on the card itself, the ageing of the set, being a 1st edition etc…

If you have more details of the items you’ve seen or you want tell us about them, or there might be a misundersting

This is partially true, conditions may not be always correct, I had a terrible experience with cards from cardmarket (not for other items thanks god), but with the time-graphics and (some) of the cards already being pictured by the sellers, you can in fact have an idea. Just don’t trust that site 100% as you shouldn’t trust me 100% cause I’m not giving you an objective answer.
Hating aside, I recommend you to always ask for pictures on CM if you happen to use it, your NM might be different from the seller’s NM and you’ll end up not getting what you paid for.

That’s everything actually! Not much more info to give, but really appreciate the help. Knowing that the raws are a lot cheaper (aside from the fact that slabs will always be more), I might opt to buy a worse condition raw from them instead. Since it’s just for the binder after all!

Also, just found a graad 7,5 alakazam for like 70€, I think your shop is too expensive.

Ahah absolutely, always ask for pictures when you need a specific condition, unless you really trust a seller.

Like this magnificent creased NM card lol
