Japan Exclusive Neo Series Artworks List

Hello!
I am closing in on completing my set collections now and started to look at what I should focus on next.
My favourite sets are the Neo series, and since I started collecting I have seen that Japan got some exclusive cards and artworks for these sets that we never saw in English.
I have been looking for a good list of these cards but couldn’t find any, so I wanted to ask you all for some help!
The requirements are:

*The cards must have the Neo set logos.
*The cards must have artwork that we didn’t get in English, or artwork that is altered compared to the English variant.

Here’s the ones I have found so far! :blush:
Neo Genesis:
* Wooper CoroCoro Promo

* Murkrow Trainer Promo

* Typhlosion Premium File 1

* Steelix Trainer Promo

* Hama-chan’s Slowking (CoroCoro promo)

* Arcade Game

* Card-Flip Game

* Moo-Moo Milk

Neo Discovery
* Eevee Premium File 2* Ruin Wall (Aerodactyl Print)
(Butterfree Holo)
(Beedrill Holo)
(Dark Raichu Holo)

Neo Revelation
* Smoochum CoroCoro Promo
(Kingdra Holo)
(Starmie Holo)
(Celebi Holo)
(Aerodactyl Holo)

Neo Destiny
* Shining Mew CoroCoro Promo

Ah, you’re in luck, I collected these a while ago as a part of my Japanese only “supplementary” set. The only two corrections to your list that I can note are as follows:

  1. The Typhlosion from Premium File 1 is not a Japanese exclusive; it (as well as the rest of the first Premium File set) is included as part of the regular English Neo Genesis set.

  1. In the Japanese Neo 2 set, there is an alternate Aerodactyl art for Ruin Wall that was never printed in the English Neo Discovery set. Only the Kabuto art is available in English.

There are a couple of other Japanese promo cards with Neo logos that are available in English without them, mostly as Black Star Promos or uniquely in the case of Dark Raichu (part of Japanese Neo 2) as part of the Team Rocket set.

Thanks @areestee ! I totally missed that Ruin Wall :grin:
What I was referring to on the Typhlosion is that the artwork is really zoomed in compared to the English one, I know it’s not a completely different art but I still included it on the list :blush:

Hm, that’s interesting, I can’t believe I didn’t notice that till now. Looking at the cards again, it seems like Typhlosion wouldn’t be the only case of that though. The most notable example being Croconaw, although the others also seem to be ever so slightly changed.

Seems like you’d be opening quite the can of worms if you count that kind of thing as a difference. I’ll also add this one then:

Focus Band in the English Neo Genesis set was printed with a misaligned picture, resulting in a white band on the bottom. The original Japanese print did not have this issue.
