Hi everyone, I’ve been out the game for a good amount of years. I’ve been searching this forum and eBay sold listings for recent values and it seems there’s not much to go by for a price comparison. If anyone knows of any Private Sale values, either raw ungraded cards, graded cards or complete sets. All information is much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

2009
To my knowledge the last public sales of these cards was back in 2016 on eBay, which are the sales available on PSA’s APR page for these cards. A full PSA-graded set appeared in 2017 for $4,000 and again in 2018 for $5,000 but neither of these sold - I think the picture you’ve provided may be the picture from these listings, but I’m not 100% sure as it’s been well over a year now. I’m personally offering $500 to $1,000 per card depending on condition and would happily pick up a full set in 2019 for $5,000 if they were PSA 9 or 10 quality. I’ve been on the look out for these cards for several years now and I’ve only so far managed to pick up one of them.
It’s worth noting that the 2009 cards could completely sink in value if any of the 12 winners start selling their full sets. The value is currently only what it is because of the scarcity of the cards - there are supposedly as many as 156 of each printed, but so far I think less than 10 of each have surfaced.
2010
The 2010 cards are a lot less scarce than the 2009 cards as after the 2010 contest finished one YJA user sold a lot of full sets. I picked up my Illusion’s Zorua (the Pokémon Fan Winner which features Pichu) back in 2010 for just $30 and even now 9 years on they’re still readily available for under $130 ungraded. The 2009 cards however appear much less frequently, even though I do believe they have the same print numbers.
