Just wondering. Does anyone have the e series in japanese? (Complete) and is there an unlimited version? Saw a few cards ul but always most of the time 1st edition.

Bar a couple of exceptions (Clefairy 28/128, Meowth 029/128, Charizard 071/128, Pichu 082/128, Mewtwo 086/128 and possible others) the Japanese Expedition Base Set, Base Expansion Pack (E1) is supposed to be a 1st edition only set. The Japanese equivalents to Aquapolis, The Town on No Map (E2) and Wind from the Sea (E3) as well as the Japanese equivalents to Skyridge, Split Earth (E4) and Mysterious Mountains (E5) all saw 1st edition and unlimited print runs.

I haven’t completed them fully yet.
E series 2,3,4,5 all have first edition and unlimited print.
And
Expedition has 1st edition and unlimited! printed cards also, but they are hidden in first edition boxes… perhaps… I heard…
So quite hard to find. Very very rare…
Like English vs and Korean unlimited ranking level.
But who knows, maybe a big influx will flood eventually when someone finds some boxes.

FWIW there’s a thread about unlimited Expedition cards here: www.elitefourum.com/t/japanese-unlimited-e-series-1-cards-base-expansion-pack/16426/1. Most come from a specific box which was handed out to only 50 players. The Ponyta is from Information Magazine vol. 4. Some of them are unknown how to obtain. Ponyta is the most common by far.

Hard to find sets I guess so
I barely started completing my set again from my childhood and want to get into japenese series instead as they are more rare.
