What’s up guys n gals? So I’ve been trying to complete my trainer magazine stash and have been finding it difficult to locate Volume #2. Does this even exist? Haha. My short term goal is volumes 1 through 5 sealed with the insert cards in a PSA 9. I currently have Volume 1, 4, & 5 with the PSA 9 promos. If anyone knows someone or has a volume 2 that they’re willing to part with, let me know! Volume 3 and the Bilingual Exeggutor are pretty common and attainable at the moment.

Vol. 2 does seem to exist, although finding a picture indeed wasn’t too easy. Here is one with all 21 volumes including 2.

Although I could be mistaken, I think volumes 2, 6, and 11 didn’t contain any promo cards, which is probably why they’re harder to find and not as popular.

From what I could find, these are the promo cards for each of the Pokémon Card Trainer magazine volumes:

So I’m not going crazy!!! Been checking everywhere and can’t find volume 2 sealed! I guess I’d need to buy 2 of them, one to open and check if there’s in fact no card inside and 1 to keep sealed. This was super helpful. Thank you so much!

No need to check, Quuador is right, there is no card inside the Vol. 2 :wink:

I don’t live with my collection and I opened mine years ago, but if I remember well, there are 1 or 2 grey Pocket Monsters sleeves, and a kind of checklist/handbook of the “Gym 2 Challenge from the Darkness” (= Gym Challenge) expansion.

Vol 2 is one of the more common ones I think. Usually sells for ~$10 sealed on mercari jp

I have a boatload of the mags but no series 2. Not positive cause it’s been many years but I don’t even recall ever looking for that issue either?

Thanks Gary. Card or no card inside, I must have this lol. Would hate to have a gap in the volumes.
