Just a reminder

Pokemon_collecting101 on Instagram is still the guy that scammed people out of hundreds of psa cards a few years back.

I just noticed a lot of people from here still following and interacting with him. So unless he paid those people back while I wasn’t looking, he’s still the pinnacle of scammer trash. Just thought I should remind everyone since he seems to be fully accepted now.

How did he scam ppl? I was unaware of this.

Bump for interest

He ran a rather large grading service on Youtube for a few months, then scammed everyone on his final, largest, round by running off with every single card. He then popped up on instagram a while back, was called out for it, and then was somehow just accepted and forgiven and forgotten by everyone.

I find it important to remind everyone that one of the largest scammers to exist in this community is still somehow around, buying and trading and selling where he has completely lost the right to. And most people just accept it.

@kaminoikari

his youtube channel was mustbepokemon, not sure if anyone remembers him. I had just got back into collecting when I got scammed by him, I sent 10 cards to be graded, mostly from flashfire which has just come out. I almost quit collecting at that point…

Were people’s cards ever returned?

I doubt it. He even started selling some on eBay and Instagram.

@fourthstartcg is this something that is on the blacklist? If not, maybe @pokemoncollector7 and you can work out whatever needs to be done to get him there. Terrible stuff.

Nope, he even started selling the cards on Ebay

Not to my knowledge, no.

I believe SilverSnorlax on youtube was the original dude to call him out.

If I remember correctly I think he had a bunch of shadowless + base first edition cards in the submission he stole come back as 10s, including a 1 edition base charizard. People suck sometimes I guess. He probably got away with 10-15K worth of cards at the time.

He has a PSA 10 shadowless charizard showing on his IG. And here i thought that he has a great collection. What a douche!

Police may not handle it, but postalinspectors.uspis.gov/contactUs/filecomplaint.aspx

@pokemoncollector7 Just out of curiosity how do you know it’s the same guy?

This asshole?

Something like this was attempted and its been 3 years now. I just wanted to remind people about it since hes still around.

And it was proven on instagram a while back. The cards and background from his ebay matched up to his instagram. And he never denied it.

He’s actually open about it from what I’ve seen.

Doesn’t show any remorse and actually wants people to move on from it lol

Problem now is I’m pretty sure he’s cashed out his entire collection.

He’s sold just about everything that was on his page. He’s been selling the last few months.

I’d have no problem moving on from it as long as he pays all of those people back. That seems fair to me.

Otherwise it seems equally fair that it continues to be a known thing.

Sorry guys I got a bit carried away ha! I despise scammers, however I would have thought someone has brought it t the attention of the authorities. Anyways, just be careful when trading, swapping etc and make sure you are fully covered.Too many people out there willing to take advantage of innocent collectors.

Good luck!
