Here is a gallery of special art cards featuring all 151 pokemon from generation one.
I was curious what a national pokedex binder would look like so I wanted to create a visualization here before commiting to buying new cards. Some special arts are not included because some pokemon have more than one special art. Additionally many of original Kanto Pokemon do not yet have a special art card yet.

I love looking at these all side by side. May I ask, where do you source good images of full art cards?

Thinking this month about going into completing this very set - I was actually also in the process of checking every card and their artwork variants. I went as far as Sandslash right now. What I can help with:

I’m using tcgcollector and cardmarket to search on them. I was really suprised seeing this thread just pop out for me on a random, but such a considence you was also thinking about it. Good that you make it topic. I’m happy to talk more about making this collection because I also want to do it. Many cards, have many artwork variantions also. It is also pretty pricy with some of the cards! How do you think collection of this sort should be tackled? Do you think the missing cards would be created someday? Due to curiosity I was even looking at etsy. I don’t know if there is sense into it, but to the time they would be created some of the missing ones, could be filled with these custom ones.

If you want to include some placeholder cards Pokemon pocket has a lot of cards that could work as a placeholder, nice collection of full arts it’s looking really nice
