Dear other card board collectors. Really odd thread but we’ll see. I am looking to buy one or multiply Spongebob Squarepants TCG Aquatic Amigo booster boxes. This card game been on the market in early 2000s and been made by Upperdeck. We all know what happened to Upperdeck but I cannot find any of the sealed product on the market. It should be somewhere and thus I think my fellow card board hoarders might have some storage location with older non-Pokémon product.
For the past months (I think almost a year) I am looking for a few boxes. The only seller on eBay is wowlootsellers and they are very questionable. I tried to work out a deal with them no success. Sneaky price adjustments, hyper increased shipping costs, multiply listings with same photos but different prices and shipping costs. You name it. No trusty source. I have also contacted various shops I used to visit but they don’t have old stock, flash sold it or just put it in the dumpster.**Why do I want it?**1) To complete my binder set (I bought like half a box at release, played the game a few months with friends)2) To add to my Spongebob collection
**What I want to pay for it:**I will pay all shipping obviously.
Willing to pay $40 per box, $350 per case.
Payments can only be done via PayPal. Can do Friends and Family.
I am located in the EU and thus prefer that over US/UK/AU/NZ due to import fees.
Cant help you with the boxes, but FYI wowlootsellers is not just “questionable” that is a total understatement. In fact, I was drawn to and stumbled on this forum while doing advanced searches on Google for that handle name and seller… search in the forum you will see some threads lol.

My experience with these old/dead CCGs/TCGs is you need access to someone or be in some type of community board that caters to shop owners, stores that only do trade booths, etc. There is a post in General I think about some collectorcon event in Dallas, maybe message the OP and ask him to keep an eye out for those old sponge Bob boxes that might happen to be lying around at a booth…
If they don’t pop up on the typical marketplace sites, it’s a highly tedious process to source these products. I’ve legit made lists of big LGS stores in the past and cold called / cold emailed one by one to see if they had leads for some specific products.
You could try that with Dave & Adams and Collectors Cache… they might be of use good luck!
I just checked and wowloot has them at 79.99$, is that not a price you are willing to pay? Or you feel like if you try and buy the (6) he has he’ll sense some type of “buy out” and then jack the prices up (which he definitely is notorious for doing lol)
This is the ad I’ve been following for a while, trying to work things out with the seller. No luck.
His original listing was all down to 34.99$ per box. He also had full cases for sale at 399$. But he was asking 45$ shipping for a single box and over something crazy for a full case. I tried to work something out, no luck. 80$ is a nice price, if I would be located in the US. 30$ shipping, 30-70$ import fees will make it a 150-200$ box. That gets less interesting to crack open to complete a binder.
