Hey Guys,
Just need the forums opinion on this very specific card,
I’m currently collecting the Neo Destiny PSA 10, 1st Edition Holofoil set, and already have the titled card in my collection but have been lucky enough too grade one myself,
Basically I’m asking what the current market would see as a fair price for this card currently, active and sold listings are near impossible to come by on eBay and the only others I can find are in unsellable collections or sold privately on old Instagram postings!
Also I believe in the fullness in time this card could be one of those to potentially increase in value due too the iconic artwork and it being the first foil Arcanine, of course all of that is speculation, but another question would be if you was myself would you hold in the hope of price rise or would you sell at what you consider too be fair market pricing now?
Obviously it would simply be an investment as I’ve already got one in my collection, look forward too your responses and will respond after my work on the shifts

Take sold listings for other cards in the set that you can find and add a 1.5x multiplier for the popularity of the Light Arcanine. I’d say somewhere in the $500 range sounds pretty accurate. Most other destiny cards are somewhere between $200 and $500. This is just based off how other cards have sold across other sets. There are exceptions to the rules when someone really wants a card and that’s out of anyone’s control.
Opinion on future price: I think it’s gonna be pretty stable. Population of these cards will increase VERY slowly with the box prices of this set. Popularity of this specific card will remain high but I don’t see the price increasing any time soon. Most Neo cards have taken a nose dive in the last 6 months with people realizing how difficult it is to collect a full set of these guys.

Always loved the artwork. Neo destiny had some.of the best artwork of any set.

Good luck with selling it and hooe you get a good price. The art work on that card is sensational.
Ps. First holo arcanine was Blaine’s arcanine from Gym Challenge, now that’s another epic card!

$500 sounds about right, wouldn’t be surprised if it went for more at auction as sales are few and far between

I actually sold one about this time last year for $285. This was before the WOTC market surge though . . . I think in the current market $350-500 seems like an appropriate range. Light Arcanine is usually one of the most desirable holos in the set.

I was gonna say $300 as well but it wouldn’t be a surprise if $500 limit is broken soon. Got the PSA 10 copy in own collection too but can’t keep up with current market, lol.

The reason I asked is because I show bias too the set & this particular card but am glad too see many value card at around $300 - $500, I think at this price point, I’m going too keep for a while longer and agree with a lot of points in scarcity, anyone willing too sell $300 get in touch 
Thanks @thecardguyz especially for your input as I know you know a lot in regards too Neo sets, I think this nose dive will be short- lived, hype’s moved over too the EX series for a while but Neo sets are better long term investments for sure!
