Looking for Mint Lucky Stadium Cards

Hey guys,

I’m looking for Mint Condition Lucky Stadium cards (set of 8). If I can buy a set then that’s great but I’m also looking to buy singles if I have to (which is no problem).

Conditon is everything as I expect to have these graded. If there’s so much as a speck of white on the reverse, or a scratch etc. I’m not interested.

Thanks in advance! Hoping someone has any to spare!

I just sold a PSA 9 set for 150.00. What do you think an ungraded set is worth and what about a 10 set?

10’s no idea. I plan on grading the cards myself and don’t plan on selling. Personally, I wouldn’t pay any more than $20 for any flawless lucky stadium card ungraded.

Not to butt in but its about time you got around to these cards…your ninth lucky stadium was getting lonely :stuck_out_tongue: On a side note I think $80 for an ungraded set is fair. I would put a PSA10 around $150-$180.

I agree with you Mike! Although a PSA 10 set would squeak past the $180 mark with the right buyer.

If you add in the cost of grading and postage, wouldn’t you end up close to the $180 mark? Plus you run the risk of one or two of the cards not getting a 10. If it’s me, I’d go for a 10 set.

I really like the artwork on the 9th. I would love to add it to my collection but its price is just killing me.

Well I make bulk orders with PSA, and I manage to get the cards graded at a very low cost. In the end, I still come out cheaper when I grade them myself. Plus, there’s just something magical knowing that you graded the card yourself, I cannot explain it.

Also, PSA 10’s would be very difficult to find. I might have to wait 2 years before 8 different 10’s come up at fair prices. This seems like a better alternative to me.

I would say as a rule of thumb, all old japanese promo’s are difficult to grade a 10. Especially cards like these that were handed out without cases or protection.

Yes I do agree, I will be very hard-pressed to find ones in good enough condition to grade 10’s, but I like the thrll of the hunt! And I hate having to wait for already graded 10s to pop up.

Yes, I concur. Lucky Stadium cards are notorious for possessing razor-thin edge wear, especially on the upper and/or lower edge (reverse). I haven’t witnessed too many perfect, mint condition cards for this particular release. Nevertheless, I believe it is possible!

I agree; I obtained my set for $80, so this price seems fairly reasonable

@cbd1235 – I wish you the best of luck, Jason! You can do it

Jason, you can do it!
