Someone just posted this on another board I am on. He is a manager in McDonald’s but we currently don’t know if this will be the existing set of mcdonalds cards from 2017 or a whole new set.

Someone said in the UK you can just go in and buy the toys. Don’t really go in there much but I will be trying it.

Uk and most of europe already got the 2017 set in like September and October , so it kinda has to be the new 2018 set

It’s a bit hard to read, but it’s just the same Pokémon holiday season promotion as last year. I hope the toys are just of better quality and the cards more unique then the promo we had earlier this year.
They’d sell mad happy meals if they included a unique holo Charizard Card.

Think they do salads…I can’t stand mcdonalds, I’m probably gonna pass on this promotion and just skip right to ebay aftersales (if anything I like!)

I love McDonalds, because I rarely eat it. But indeed, it’s easier to just get the cards off eBay. Am just curious which 16 ‘iconic’ Pokemon they selected for the set.
Or are they getting the 2016 set (shiny magikarp, psyduck, vulpix, etc)?
So there is an update on this. The uk are simply getting the 2017 mcdonalds cards which have already been in the US and Australia, for any one who collects the toys as well though it looks like they may be different.

Never had any of the toys from them shame they are just repeats of previous ones.
Fish fingers, cheese burger no patty…hamburger, no patty, or just buy the toys as they do that. 
I didnt know we had Poke cards this year in Maccies…
