Metrics regarding the timeline and history of pokemon TCG?

Hey y’all,

Warning boring beaten to death topic I’m sure

I couldn’t seem to find anything when searching so I thought I would make a thread. I’m trying to learn more about pokemon TCG from the beginning until now. From the amount of cards produced/people interested from the beginning on. Also interested to know what countries were involved and how it spread. There are no general metrics for how many cards sold each year?

Why can’t there be a quick and easy video going through everything like this
