that Milotic comes to mind as well. whats the PSA 10 value you on that card now? and yeah I think the FRLG Zard and Lugia USF are some of the top cards
That Milotic went for just over $150 a couple of years ago. If one surfaced again I’d probably put it at $200-300.
Thanks for the reference. I’m guessing nothing touches the FRLG zard in a PSA 10 as far as value goes. Seems like the Lugia USF psa 10 has been hitting like $350 which is very impressive

Charizard ex and Lugia ex are expensive as mentioned before, but most Team Rocket Returns ex cards seem to be expensive too. And Team Aqua vs Team Magma Suicune ex as well.
As mentioned it’s probably the Charizard, which is also one of the best Charizard artworks IMO.
Had 2 of them in my childhood collection which I got graded when I got back in to the hobby. Luckily I kept them in a binder so both came back as 8s, which are still fairly valuable.
Also honourable mentions to the artwork on FRLG Blastoise and pretty much everything from Team Rocket.
The early EX era was when I was in the prime of my collecting, as I was only 5 when base set was released in the UK, so the early EX’s made up a large part of my childhood collection.

Anyone know why the pop is so low for deoxys ex PSA 10 (ex emerald series)? Sorry that this is a bit unrelated.
like already mentioned, Charizard and Lugia are in a class of their own. They’re both like the ex incarnation of their respective debut cards, and the fact that lugia was played a ton in the tcg really doesn’t lower its price. It also has a championship deck version.
other than that you want to look out for the big hitter sets, like again already mentioned ex team rocket returns (rockets mewtwo ex is stupid pricy), ex team magma and aqua, other fan favorites from ex frlg and unseen forces, some cards from ex dragon like dragonite, ex sandstorm, arcanine and mew from legend maker, just to name a few. the ex cards from the first half of ex era are generally worth more, as gold stars start to take a lot of the attention in sets like ex dragon frontiers. that is also when they stopped using the galaxy holo foil on the ex cards, and swapped to just blank holo which carry a lot more prominent print lines.
i saw it go for 150-175 a couple months ago. its a sleeper for sure, stunning artwork
Got the milotic in a 9. Has to be one of the most stunning cards ever.
