1996 Japanese Vending Sticker. Took me a lil while to find this one. Ended up with alot of extra vending stickers as it was sold in a lot. SO SHINY.

I just realised this artwork is different from almost all others. It has white filling between the back, tail and ears. Clearly a mistake when pasting the stock artwork onto the background. I love it! The sticker seems to be the only other artwork with the same mistake.

Never noticed that before either. I do know about a few other cards with this error, like the Misty’s Seel, but I didn’t knew about the No Rarity Vulpix having this error.
Here’s another fun fact about this artwork: this Vulpix and the vending machine Mew have the same background (first discovered by @muk and shared in this thread), and the EX Holon Phantoms Regice also has it as foreground (discovered by @rattledkarp and shared here):
Here the original source of that back-/foreground from the Sozaijiten website.
A lot of the early TCG artwork backgrounds, especially for Ken Sugimori artworks, were taken from those stock images. More info about that in this thread (and originally this Twitter post).

And really an awesome single-artwork collection @prophetzanzabar! I started doing something similar with (surprise, surprise…) base pikachu. It was fun until it wasnt lol (looking at you Pikatour and E3 red cheeks).

Sorry for the late response. I’ve been trying to figure out which one it was, but I honestly forgot. I recall seeing one more like that before, but I might just misremember and it might have been the Vulpix.
One other semi-similar one you probably already know about: the Focus Band trainer card from the Neo Genesis set has a white line at the bottom of its artwork in English and the international languages, which isn’t there on the Japanese artwork.
If I somehow figure out which possible other one I’ve seen later on, I’ll lyk. I probably saw it before I was saving pictures of cards, which is at least three years ago.

Dang now i want a big hd portrait of that stary stock art for my house haha. And i chose this card and art because when i was a lil kid in school everyone was showing off cards and things and one of my friends gave me 1 single card, and it was the og art vulpix. So when eventually down the line i learned about slabbed cards i just thought that if i could have 1 psa 10 card it would have to be that vulpix i had as a kid. Well i got it. Then someone suggested i get other vulpix cards and i just kinda took off with the idea. And actually Vulpix is not my fav pokemon at all. I really enjoy poison pokemon the most. And i cant really say who my fav pkmn of all time is. Just need the Korean Unlimited and a 1st ed blue butt error and then i can focus on upping my non 10s to higher grades.
