I need some help pricing out this bundle for some potential buyers. It’s getting a lot of attention but I don’t know what an honest price would be. I only have 1 data point and its for the same bundle but with Pokemon Red and that sold for $5600. So, I’m thinking ~$3K? What do you all think?
the pokemon gold is probably the most expensive item in this set. it looks to be in pretty mint condition. i was trying to look for recent sale prices for graded gold in VGA 85 or 90, but couldn’t find much. i know pokemon blue/red in vga 85-90 would sell for 3-6k. i think if you extrapolate that way, assuming your gold is 85-90 grade, i think 2-3k is reasonable. the gameboy is about 200-300 sealed, the player guide’s value is not gonna matter too much.
Overall, if you make the sale in the range of 2-4k is all reasonable, i think. nothing lower than 2k.

I would list for $5k with best offer enabled and see what comes along. Ultimately I will not settle for anything less than 3k though.

Thanks for the input. I think the inherent value is as the bundle not its sum of individual pieces. That’s why its a hard one to price out.
that is if anyone puts any premium on the bundle. this is similar to signed cards.
Is the sticker over the UPC on the shrink wrap of the game? Idk much about VGA grading but I think that would hurt its value a bit. Cool set though!
Yeah, the white sticker that usually has the UPC is over the shrink wrap. However, I don’t think the person that’s going to buy this is going to crack it open to grade the game.
this is a slight tangent. do you know if VGA has a pop report on their graded video games, similar to PSA pop report or BGS pop report? if they do, how can you access it?
I would list for 7k and wait for good offers.

If you are not in a rush to sell the bundle, the right buyer will eventually make a good offer

Yup, no rush. Its pretty cool so I like having it in my collection!
