while on the topic, what is this card worth as a PSA10?
the best offer i got from a seller was $300 is this ridiculous? can i do better?

PSA is going to be a LOT more expensive than regular and getting it graded yourself.
However, getting it graded costs money as well, and the other thing, is that you might not pull off a 10
Those PSA 10 cards are few in number so the price is literally up to the seller. It is very difficult to get a 10 on 1st edition base cards.
