Anyone wondering if we may get surprise New art in shiny star? I’m hoping there’s a Blastoise full art and venusaur full art to match the new charizard full art (art from champions path).
Would love a surprise red full art with the evolved kanto starters as shiny, but that’s just fantasizing

They did say Blastoise & Venusaur VMAX is coming. It’s on PokeGuardian. No images yet though.
I wonder if they are eventually releasing at least every first gen pokemon as shinys, i really would hope my precious grimer and muk to finally get some shiny love

Maybe we’ll get the first ever shiny Venusaur card.
Although shiny star is reprinting old art and recoloring shiny, Blastoise and venusaur seem they could get new art (because charizard did). Although charizard is unlike any Pokémon- of course he will get new art

It is a different color yeah, but doesn’t match the in games shiny of venu.
A shiny Blastoise & Venusaur V full art & Vmax Hyper would be amazing but I am guessing they will be just focusing on giving the shiny treatment to cards from previous Sword and Shield sets. The new Blastoise and Venusaur Vmax decks release after Shiny V. It would be awesome if they were to give them shiny variants in the new year for the 25th anniversary fingers crossed.

Blastoise and Venusaur in Shiny Star V? Nah don’t expect it. S4a Shiny Star V is closing off SWSH TCG Year 1. Especially when the main set list is out now I don’t expect them in there.
The Sword & Shield Starter Set VMAX Blastoise / Venusaur are meant for Year 2, based on the Isle of Armor DLC in the videogame.
The starter decks themselves release on December 4, 2020, that’s 2 weeks after Shiny Star V has been released.
This set is a reprint set with some new original set exclusive cards in there, they would give older cards more priority than Blastoise and Venusaur.
If these two are in this set as shiny cards, that would be super crazy and unheard of. But I like to be surprised.
