Wow, the eye appeal is amazing, they really pop. I also really like the asymmetry of the cards versus the symmetry of the frames. Are those custom made frames or just off-the-shelf and they magically fit 10 PSA cases? I’m guessing the latter.

This is such an amazing and creative idea! Thanks for sharing! Could you link to the ones you used if you did purchase them?

It looks like there’s a little room at the top for a plaque or something.

Are they custom? How much did they cost to put together?

They are off-the-shelf frames from Hobby Lobby. I paid less than 20bucks per frame!

There is a little room at the top. They are not custom but off-the-shelf! A plaque is a really great idea!!

Looks epic man! I wish I had more space to show off my collections

Food for thought! Unique, cool display @tentelisano little bit jealous

Here is a link to the shadow boxes that I am using. You also need to get some poly-fil and some type of felt for the backdrop. I went with a simple black felt.

Basically, you put the cards in the way you want them. Cut a piece of felt to fit the back of the box. Insert poly-fil to fill up the empty space in the case so that the cards don’t fall. Then, you put the back of the shadow box back on and hang.

In my opinion it is a simple, cheap, and elegant way to display parts of a collection!

Amazing how you found an off-the-shelf product and made it look like a custom display frame. Very inexpensive and gorgeous looking display solution. I’ll probably go in the same direction, thanks for the pointers!

I’m confused by the polyfill part of the description. Is that an adhesive or does it create a platform to place the cards on?

Polyfill is just a down like filler (Ive seen it called poly down before) that goes behind the frame so that the cards stay close to the glass. It fills in the rest of the shadow box since the box is way too deep to house the cards normally.

Thats good, another way to display my graded cards! I planned on framing non graded but ill rethink the way I display my graded now

Gorgeous! The black frame really makes the colors pop!

Nice, found those frames on sale while I was there. It will be a good addition to how I planned on framing the rest!

How did u say u got the cards to stay w/o dmging them?

Basically you fill the box from the frame back. So you put the cards in against the glass. Then, you put the felt down. Finally, you use the poly-fil to fill in the rest of the empty space in the box and put the back of the shadowbox on. The cards are encapsulated by PSA. I don’t really see a way that this could cause any damage to the cards if care is taken when filling in the box.

Looks terrific, well done.

These look great! Thanks for sharing. I might have to pick one up from Hobby Lobby and try it myself.

The only thing I would do differently is find the dimensions of the empty space at top and divide that by 2. Then cut a piece of wood as a spacer, wrap that in felt, and then add that to the top and the bottom. That way the cards would fit perfectly with no spaces at all.

For extra protection - maybe even spray on some UV-Resistant clear coating to the frame glass before hanging it up.
