I’m excited! Unless they pull a Blissey V, perhaps the first time I don’t have to try and map out if Chansey will be in the set! While the Japanese pack art says s10b like a main set, it doesn’t have Sword Shield logo, so we could get something unique play style.

Pretty excited for this one. Might get back into Pokémon Go too just because. Hope they at least have Eevee in there. I’m wondering how they’ll do the background art, assuming they’re keeping the same 3D models.
Sounds cool. I don’t have much knowledge of GO, so can anyone tell me of anything unique we could see? I know they have a few professors and Melmetal was an exclusive to the game, but are there any others?
Haven’t played Go before but it would be cool if all the cards use real-world photos for backgrounds

Always excited for something different but thats going to be rough for parents with all the counterfeit products that already use the pokemon go logo.
We used to get "Pokémon with stock image slightly blurred real background art " all the time so be careful what you wish for Iol. Though it could certainly be better executed than the past.

I’m new to the TCG side so I don’t know if this would be unique, but costumes are a big deal in GO. I’d love to see cards featuring them, but you could easily get a pretty massive set that wouldn’t make much sense from a TCG perspective if you included too many of them. Also, not sure if “Lucky” Pokemon are a thing elsewhere, but that could probably feature in the TCG somehow. I’d love to see a new Lucky type alongside V/VMAX/VStar, EX, etc, but that’d probably be overkill.

I think it would be really neat if the cards were photos that the players themselves have submitted.

I’m really excited for the potential Trainer/Supporters or Stadiums we could see. I’d love to see a Community Day themed card similar to the Pikachu outbreak cards. Or cards incorporating the highly specific elements of Pokémon Go like Gyms and Pokestops. There are so many cool directions they take this. Real locations like Chicago Go-Fest, San Francisco (Niantic headquarters) or just iconic landmarks in general.
I will say I hope they are hand drawn and not Snapshots that actual players have taken.
