Just want to know what you all think of the Blastoise and Venusaur VMAX cards. The release is December 4th in 60 card decks.

I always play venusaur no matter how good or bad it is. This one looks pretty good but its gonna have a tough time with fire being what it is
Im wondering if the English release of this card will be a theme deck or if it’ll just find its way in the next expansion

Hmm, Venusaur Vmax literally just jooks like a pretty big regular Venusaur - which isn’t even that bad tbh.
Blastoise Vmax looks pretty ridiculous and over the top. The design doesn’t make much sense IMO, but with ice cream Pokemon and haunted keychain Pokemon this train has left the station a long time ago anyway.

Guessing it will be in a set as this is the same way the Charizard VMAX was released and it found it’s way into Darkness Ablaze.
Yeah I agree that Blastoise is overkill with all those guns on his shell. Seems weirdly mecha to me for Pokemon.
Really looking forward to the release of the VMAX Battle Triple Starter Set. Popped down a pre order a couple of months ago. I really like the design of the Blastoise Vmax. I wonder if they will also release full art V versions for Blastoise and Venusaur, Shiny versions would be epic also.
The rifling on the blastoise vmax is pretty cool, I really like the card. Would of been cool if venuasaur vines had thorns on them or something to add to it.

I’m just happy that venusaur finally got it’s Vmax and some love. gonna get it for sure.

already preordered the theme deck (2 of them) for Venu Vmax. I really like the Gmax Venu design (if the ‘crown’ was a little shorter it would be perfect), love the card arts and the coin etc. very excited! Bummed cant play the card in standard til USA get it tho
Had the same thought, I hope we can get these two in theme decks.
I’m really not as sold as I thought I would be on the Blastoise given his design in game, but I’m hyped for the cards nonetheless.
I like the Venusaur. His flower kind of imitates an amigasa.
I really like the blastoise, full on battle tank. The venusaur is okay, really looking forward to having all 3 of these next to each other in my binder.

This artwork depicts the VMax of those pokemon beautifully! I just wish there was less emphasis on the flower of Venusaur, so we could see more of the body of it. I’m excited for these!

I really hope Amazing Rares come out rather soon as I’m not a huge fan of these modern designs
