I just don’t get it. At all. The Top Shot “Moments” for example… you can just watch the basketball clips for free. Who cares if some company “mints” blockchain that makes it unique. It isn’t unique… you can access the video, the picture, whatever with or without that ownership.
I just don’t get it.
Bitcoin I can wrap my head around since it is intended as a currency. Although at this point it’s just a value store.
These NFTs are really just another form of value store. There is no other instrinsic value. At least collectibles have some form of value due to their physical nature.
I simply don’t get this.
Can any help frame this to help me understand why this isn’t just ridiculous?
