Hello, I am wondering why my account on ebay isn’t getting the offer for 5% bucks they have going on right now. The account I made is new, but my mom’s account (which I used to use) still gets these promotional emails. She got one today but my account didn’t. Is it just because my account is new? I am enrolled in ebay bucks and get the standard 1% back but no promo emails.
Thank you!
I haven’t gotten any promotions for 6+months
They must not like me
I believe you need to be receiving general promotional emails from eBay. If you don’t receive them you may not be eligible. This is something you can change in your account settings.
Lol I haven’t gotten a special eBay bucks offer since at least 2017 (my account is open since 2002). Have all the email alerts set up like they say but I’m never eligible. I keep saying I’m gonna call eBay and then never do, sigh
When I first enrolled I didn’t get them always but the last couple years I don’t think I have missed any. Definitely would be calling eBay up ASAP. Those 10% deals are super nice and can rack up some “free” money fast. If they are having an offer it usually appears on my eBay homepage on the revolving banner thing, also sent an email/message via eBay messages.
Side question, does anyone use 3rd party affiliate websites like Honey or Rakuten? I started off with Rakuten but none of my purchases were qualifying for any cash back, I have been using Honey now and maybe half of my transactions end up getting some money back. Pair this with eBay bucks and 2% back on a credit card can add up quick.
I’ve been using honey but the hit or miss qualifications add up awfully slow. I’ve gotten $7 from them for probably around $5,000 in transactions. It doesn’t help that I sometimes buy on mobile or forget to activate it. I’m tempted to say that it hardly seems worth it but it is free after all.
On thread topic, I have only not received one eBucks deal since I have been actively purchasing and it was when I had a $700 cart after a PWCC block, waiting for an eBucks deal to save some extra money. They knew
