The Pokémon official site has posted new details on upcoming promotional cards for the month of August. Several new Pikachu cards will be released at a 'Pikachu Outbreak Chuu!" event held in the Minato Mirai business district in Yokohama. Additionally, 6 promotional reprints of cards will be available at Pokémon Centers throughout the month.
At the Pikachu Outbreak Chuu! event, attendees can earn a commemorative Pikachu promotional card, numbered 068/XY-P, by currently unknown means. The description mentions other Pikachu promotional cards being available, but only one can be received, and the distribution is random.
The six promotional reprints at the Pokémon centers take up spots 071-076/XY-P. The first three, reprints of Chesnaugt, Delphox, and Greninja from Collection X/Collection Y, will be given in a Pokémon Card Game Summer Vacation Present Campaign to those who purchase 1,000 Yen worth of products from Pokémon Center stores from August 1-31. During this campaign on the weekends of August 23-24 and 30-31, fans can battle the Kalos Gym Leaders in the Pokémon Centers. Win or lose, players can chose one of three promotional reprints of Collection X’s Venusaur-EX, Collection Y’s Blastoise-EX, or Wild Blaze’s Charizard-EX.
