Omg it’s so expensive :woozy_face:
Will have to maybe get a 9 instead of a 10

@c0ll3ct0r, agree.

I’d also nominate the 10th Anniversary Yuki Mori promos.

What’s that one?

I’m definitely no expert on lesser known rarer Pikachu cards (since I’m not sure which cards others don’t know about), but I do feel like the Mysterious Treasures 94/123 and Diamond & Pearl Promo 16 cards that matched each other are pretty underrated!

I remember being a kid getting the Mysterious Treasures card and hearing the “rumors” that there was a matching card for it. As a kid, it felt like such a cool easter egg or something to hunt for. And I feel like the magic of it isn’t as remembered and appreciated as much as it should be.

2002 Festa Pikachu

Thank you!

The Festa Pikachu from 2002 (left), I believe comes from the same lineage as the 279/XY-P you posted earlier. It’s an event ran by TPC in Japan. Not to be confused with the similar looking JR Rally Pikachu that is part of a larger set (right).

JR (Japan Rail, ie. one of the many train operators in Japan) Rally cards come from an event where kids had to physically visit multiple stations to earn them. In the case of the 2002 cards, I believe they would pick them up at a booth at particular stations on the Yamanote line that goes around Tokyo.
