hi guys i wanted to know is pocket monsters illustrated guide serie rare ? i cant find much online
cant find data on them , thank :smiley:

Depends on the gen. The gen 1 & 2 Illustration Guides are easier to find than the gen 3 one (as with almost every non-TCG item… :sob: ). They aren’t extremely rare though, and do pop up for sale every now and then on Mercari, YJ, and other Japanese auction websites.

I actually managed to buy the Illustration Guide and all Patapata Sealdass Sticker Books featuring Seviper from a single seller a few months back. :slight_smile: (Or at least, I think they are all the ones featuring Seviper. He didn’t had all volumes for sale, so I’m not sure which Pokémon are featured in the missing volumes. :thinking: )

Either way, they’re pretty cool, and not too easy to find, but I also don’t think they’re extremely rare. I could be mistaken though. It’s hard to find information on most non-TCG stuff (which is why I haven’t written my next Non-TCG Seviper collection update yet, which I’m working on).

I used to see them readily available in good numbers on Mercari and YJP when I was searching for carddass stuff. Based on my limited knowledge and general observations they were decently priced and not too expensive. Some of the guides maybe rare though but hard to know which ones.
