Pokemon artist originals/prints examples

In MTG there are a lot of artists who sell the originals for specific cards, or sell prints.
I noticed that in Pokemon there are some groups of cards that are a part of a larger picture. For example neo rev ho-oh 18, lugia 20, skarmory 23.

I can’t find anything about Pokemon prints or originals, and assume its because Pokemon has their artists on a tight leash, so it’s basically impossible to source and buy these without some connections. But I was wondering if there were any publicly available photos of things like this that people were able to find/share, because they’d be really cool to see.
Thanks!

Unlike MTG where a lot of original paintings are up for sale or in the hands of private collectors, I dont recall seeing a Pokemon one in all these years, not even a photo.

The Pokemon Company owns the rights to all illustrations including originals done by the TCG artists. So unless The Pokemon Company gives the artists permission to sell their original artwork, you’re out of luck my friend.

This is correct, and there’s an effectively zero percent chance this will change. From what I’ve heard, the original contracts included complete ownership of the original painting. Additionally, a lot of Pokemon art (even some of the early WotC-era art – especially Neo/e-Series) is clearly digital. So the amount of original paintings in existence is much, much smaller than it is for MTG – especially since Pokemon artists never had an incentive to produce traditional art (unlike MTG artists, of course, who, even today, have ownership of the original, physical painting, which they often then sell).
