Pokemon center Japan - what to buy

Hi guys,

Hope you’ll are doing well.
My friend is visiting Tokyo on the 1st of September and the nice person that she is, she mentioned she can pick up something for me if I wanted. Does any one have any idea of any Japanese Pokémon center (Tokyo) exclusives that are releasing during this time or already available right now to purchase? Anything that can be a good buy?
Any info would be much appreciated. Thanks!

@fizzyadrenaline , as far as I am aware the next limited pokemon center promos come out on the 18th of September, so I don’t think your friend will be able to fetch anything that is particularly exclusive on the TCG side. Legendary heartbeat booster boxes should be plentiful though and they are guaranted one amazing rare per box.

Best suggestion I can give is to check Japan’s Pokemon Center website and see if there’s anything there that tickles your fancy:

Most of these products should be available at any Pokemon Center in Japan.

I’ll be honest, I went to Tokyo a few times and I bought I think 2 things at most from the pokemon center. The two best things to purchase was:

1. Any exclusive plush toy from Pokemon Center (for example the Yokohama pikachu/psyduck, or scream pikachu), as they never become “cheaper” on the secondhand market

2. Any Japanese exclusive booster packs that are sold out everywhere else, which when I went was the Ultra Shiny series.

Quite edit/note: If you want to buy booster boxes, I suggest to just buy from a department store because it’s cheaper since it can become tax free!

That is what my question was that if anyone knows is there any exclusive promo available right now on Sep 1 that my friend can buy. Unfortunately she knows nothing about Pokémon so she won’t be able to just go and ask “what will hold the most value” . The scream promo is definitely not available right now and as someone mentioned the next promo is somewhere around Sep 18. So at it stands, there’s nothing to buy for me if there are no promos available right now
