I’m very late to the Pokémon go party, I technically started when it came out, but quickly quit because it was too buggy on my phone and didn’t work.
I only JUST recently started back up because my little sister wanted exclusive Japanese pokemon, so now here i am fairly addicted to the game
I tried searching for any Pokémon go threads on here, but didn’t see anything. I can’t imagine Pokémon go content being blocked for any reason, so I’m making this thread now to see if anyone wants to swap friend codes. I’d love to have some eFour members as friends on there to swap gifts and whatnot.

I actually played pretty hard for the first few years walking 10km after work days and over 30km on weekend days. Then i slowed down some because I mostly had what I wanted and the continues rush was starting to feel unpleasant. Two years ago I started collecting cards which resulted in me not playing anymore because I had enough Pokémon on my head because of the cards. At the moment I’m out of budget for cards so I decided to start playing again but not on the pace like I used to because I don’t want to feel like I have to play to get content done but rather that I want to play just to go outside with friends. I will add my code (7272 6726 7699) and will gladly add people from the forum but don’t expect gifts everyday. ^^ Also adding a picture of my Pokédex at the moment, I don’t want to trade stuff I haven’t caught myself which results in my not having everything but that’s just the fun of it I think. As far as I know it’s a hunting game and not a take a shortcut and trade it game. Still lovin it though
Wow! You really did go hard! Yeah, I just wanna get to a respectable point, then I’ll slow down probably. Also helps that I’ve got insane levels of free time right now. Might as well make the best of it. I want to get to the point of being casual though. I feel like that’s when it’ll be cool, when you’ve got most of what you need and just kinda do the events and what not.

I’ve been playing on and off since 2016! I don’t play as often in recent years, but I always make it a point to play daily during the fall each year (PoGO Halloween events are the best, imo). Some of my university friends are super into the game, so I’ll probably be very active for the next year-ish.

Glad I came in at a good time then. I really liked the recent litwick community day. Litwick is probably one of my favorite Pokémon from recent gens, besides maybe aegislash.
Litwick community day was a lot of fun! It was the first community day I was actually able to get out and walk around with friends for. We are looking forward to the Dratini community day coming up too
It being my first ever Community Day, I was very happy with it. Didn’t get the Flawless IV Shiny, but I imagine those are excessively rare seeing as I still only have one Perfect IV Pokemon in total. What does everyone do with all the extra Shiny versions they caught that don’t quite live up to muster? Just hold em and hope that someday someone wants to trade for them?
Sick! there is a Dratini CD soon?! that’s gonna be a hectic day for everyone I imagine. I saw Teddiursa is coming up in November, how far out is Dratini?
I usually favorite the Pokémon I want to keep and the ones I have that are for trades I don’t favorite, this helps to have a better overview of what you have. For a community day I usually keep the two or three best ones and evolve so that I have one of each in the evolution line. If I later on catch another I compare if it’s better then the one I have and then unfavorite the extra one. It depends how much you trade but besides the shinys I keep, I also hold on to an extra four or six ones to trade with friends but most of the time people are not that interested in them so they end up filling my storage… I always say what is gone is gone but what you have can still be transferred.
Good idea to evolve and have multiple in each evolution step. I’m gonna do that now for some of my litwick I can’t bear to release any so I’ll probably just have inventory clogging and have to live with it hahah!
Oh wow, that’s a lot sooner than I was expecting, per month how many CD are there? If they said teddiursa was in November, then I assume maybe it’s 2?
And yeah, that’s kind of where I’m at with getting rid of shinies I just can’t bear to get rid of any. I did do the evolution thing though that @pinn033 suggested. Chose a good one and kept it as lampent.
